Algunas huellas del Triumphus Cupidinis y el De amore en la poesía hispánica de los siglos XV-XVI"

Abstract

Entre los seis Triumphi de Petrarca, los dos primeros -referidos al Amor y a la Castidad- remiten en diversas ocasiones al canto VI de la Eneida. Estas pistas deben ser consideradas a la hora de establecer las relaciones entre Petrarca y la tradición de las visiones alegóricas en la Edad Media. Además, el tejido argumental del Triumphus Cupidinis de Petrarca coincide parcialmente con un episodio del De Amare donde Andrea Capellanus representa a Amor dirigiendo un cortejo y castigando a unas mujeres de conducta reprobable. La tradición hispánica de los siglos XV-XVI sintetiza ambos modelos -los Triumphi y el De Amore-, como bien demuestran algunas composiciones del Cancionero general o de la Rosa de amores.

Among the six Triumphs of Petrarch, the first two (referring to Love and Chastity) remit in diverse passages to the book VI of the Aeneid. These traces should be considered when establishing the relationships between Petrarch and the allegorical tradition in the Middle Ages. Also, the argument of the Triumphus Cupidinis of Petrarch coincides partially with an episode of the De Amare where Andrea Capellanus represents Love directing a cortege and punishing some women of disreputable conduct. The Hispanic tradition of XV and XVI centuries synthesizes both models -Triumphs and De Amore- , as is well demonstrated in sorne compositions of the Cancionero general or the Rosa de amores.
