La relevancia creciente de las Bolsas en el mundo : un nuevo escenario

Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo es triple: en primer lugar, dejar constancia de los cambios cuantitativos y cualitativos que se han producido en las bolsas de valores, en especial en los mercados de acciones; en segundo término, exponer los factores que han inducido a cambios de tal entidad; por último, aludir a las consecuencias económicas y sociales que pueden derivarse del nuevo escenario. Este documento de trabajo forma parte de un estudio más amplio que con el título previsto: ¿BURBUJAS E INESTABILIDAD¿ pretende contribuir a aclarar los motivos por los cuales las burbujas, en especial las financieras, son tema de actualidad así como los principales aspectos que deben preocupar de estos fenómenos. El primer avance del trabajo en curso se publicó en esta misma colección: Burbujas e Inestabilidad: El Estado de la Cuestión. Documento de Trabajo nº 3/2004. This document has three objectives: firstly, to register the quantitative and qualitative changes carried out in the securities market, especially in the stock exchange; secondly, to state the factors leading to changes in such an entity; and finally, to point out the economic and social consequences that could arise from this new scenario. This working paper is part of a wider research entitled ¿BUBBLES AND INSTABILITY¿, which is intended to try and clarify the reasons why the bubbles, especially financial bubbles, are a current issue and one of the main aspects to be considered within these phenomena. The first preview of this current document was published in the same collection: Bubbles and Instability: The State of the Art. Working Paper no. 3/2004.
