Abstract

Lo que se dice es un operador metalingüístico, que apunta de forma ostensiva al contenido de la unidad seleccionada del código. Esta se presenta como la adecuada a la realidad que se designa. Aparece en tres contextos discursivos: introduciendo un complemento tematizado, focalizando cualquier función sintáctica, o adelantándose a una conclusión denominativa. Esta unidad muestra la interrelación entre el plano informativo y el enunciativo, apuntando a la necesidad de una descripción multidimensional de las unidades del discurso.

Lo que se dice is a metalinguistic operator. It marks by ostension the meaning of the word chosen by the speaker. This word is the most suitable to the “designatum”. It appears in three discursive contexts: introducing the theme, focusing any syntactic function or with a conclusion. Lo que se dice shows the interaction between the information and the declaration, and reveals the need of a multidimensional description of discourse units.
