Abstract
This article deals with the topic of the story of Jason and
Medea as represented by different 15th-c. Spanish, English, and Portuguese
books in the Iberian Peninsula: Confessio Amantis, Laberinto de
Fortuna, Celestina, and Hernán Nuñez's Comentario. In addition to exploring
the possible connections among the texts, it analyzes the widespread
diffusion and knowledge (in different milieux) of literature on
magic at the time in the Iberian Peninsula.
