Abstract
This Final Degree Project is a historical and geometric analysis of the Convent of San Francisco, located in Guadalajara. This is a monument that is protected and registered as an Asset of Cultural Interest (BIC) since 1931, with more than 800 years of history. Within it there are several periods of historical evolution that are linked to the different stages of construction and modification that the building has had. In it, the structure of the main nave, the presbytery and the crypt stand out, which was conceived to be a burial place for the Mendoza family, who were the main promoters of the convent complex. For the geometric analysis, a survey of the building in question has been carried out, using technological digital modeling instruments that consist of high precision generating point clouds and thus be able to collect the information of the whole in a more complete way. With this we have combined the technique of using a laser scanner, automated photogrammetry with more traditional survey techniques. Although the whole of the convent is interesting, it has focused on highlighting the layout of the presbytery in relation to the crypt.
