Abstract
In this project about "Visual Thinking", an attempt will be made to define in a
concise manner what "Visual Thinking" entails, the history behind it and it's objectives.
The first part of the project will focus on explaining it's foundations and which are it's
possibilities in the fields in which it's used, as well as a commentary on different
concepts such as the human brain, humor, learning or 'digital natives'.
Subsequently, there will be a small analysis of a body of experimentation, performed
with adult students. From the experiment there will be a proposal of two different
methods of study, learning through "Visual Thinking" and a set of possible activities and
theoretical content. This will be followed by an enumeration of the results of these
experimental sessions, a section dedicated to self-evaluation, and another dedicated to
criticism of the "Visual Thinking" method.
Lastly, a series of literary references and a wide range of images used as didactic
material are included in the appendix.
