Architecture suffers a continuous process in time of elimination (-), conservation (=) and overlapping (+) of construction materials, that are removed or kept in its original position according to the successive modifications the vitrubian variables (shape, function and construction) acquire to adapt to the environment (natural and human) in which they are located. This continuous process of transformation of architecture through time causes the stratification of the construction materials setting it as the most complex object of the material culture of a society. The restoration project will equip the monument with its last constructive stratum thereby constituting the last phase of this process.en
