By examining some of Bolet Peraza’s editorials and articles published in this magazine, and the repercussions they had on other Latin American publications, thispaper shows the commitment this Venezuelan writer had with Hispanic independent movements. In his role of managing editor, Bolet Peraza helped other intellectual exiles and political refugees from any part of the Hispanic speaking world to settle within theUnited States and to disseminate their literary work.
