What is it for? Howdoes it work? The answer leads us to postulate a grammar for linguistic use, a grammar based on evolutionarypsychology. This proposal means an emerging grammar (paying attention to grammaticalization) which is alsopragmatically located (communicative variables are taken into account; mainly the speaker and listener intentions).Grammar's abstract dimension (constituent norms) and located dimension (regulative norms) get joined byconceiving grammar as an unstable structure made up of a set of choices which allows the speakers to adaptthemselves not only to the current context requirements but also to the new context demands.
