Thus,communication in a foreign language is to be regarded, at least potentially, as speciallyconsistent in its aims and its procedures, as well as in its processes and its products. Therefore,it may also be approached as the possibility to bridge apparently opposed technical and artisticattitudinal demands. As a teacher-leamer working on the assumption that communication is theground where the subjects of education meet, 1 would like to suggest that there are differentways through which the communicative potential can be actualized by promoting opportunitiesof collaboration in our profession which can be shared by all three students, teachers and teachertrainers in foreign language teaching and leaming. This paper is only going to point out threeof those fxjssible communicative instances, namely, the writing of leaming diaries, theadaptation and/or creation of educative materials and the participation in the design, realizationand evaluation of leaming projects.
