dc.description.abstractEn el año 1540 surgieron los primeros planteamientos para la creación de un colegio de la Compañía de Jesús en Alcalá de Henares, pero fue en 1620 cuando se finalizó la construcción de la Iglesia de éste, y en 1725 cuando se realizó la sacristía aneja a la capilla de las Santas Formas. A lo largo de casi dos siglos, numerosos artistas han intervenido en las obras de este edificio, y un sin fin de dudas han surgido acerca de sus verdaderos autores. Hemos pretendido con este estudio, analizar el período histórico en el que ocurren todos estos acontecimientos y plantear un estado de la cuestión sobre las diferentes opiniones del supuesto tracista de esta iglesia jesuítica.en_US
dc.description.abstractIn 1540 there was the first idea about the creation of a Compañía de Jesús college in Alcalá de Henares, but it was in 1620 when the college's church was finished, and in 1725 when it was built the sacristy close to the chapel of the Holy Forms. Along nearly two centuries, some artists had been working in this building, and there had been a lot of doubts about the real authors, With this essay we are trying to study the history of the church and to see al the opinions of the historians about her supposed architect.
