En torno al concepto de Paleografía

Abstract

Los autores, en este artículo, pretenden acercarnos a la ciencia de la Paleografía a través de su origen y de un elenco de distintas escuelas y especialistas en la materia. Del mismo modo, nos sitúan en el espacio geográfico de esta ciencia moderna, distinguiendo primeramente el mundo romano, el mundo anglosajón, el hispanoamericano y el eslavo, para terminar en el mundo turco. Analizan distintos conceptos desde un punto de vista técnico, teniendo en cuenta la peritación y el análisis. Por último, la Paleografía es tratada como una ciencia independiente que estudia la escritura relacionada con la cultura humana.

In this article, the authors try to bring us nearer the Science of Palaeography; through its origin and through a collective of diverse schools and specialists on the subject. In addition we are placed in the geographical space of this modern science, distinguishing firstly the Romaan World, the Anglo-saxon World, the Latin-American a Slave ones, finishing with the Turkish Sphere. The authors analyze different concepts from a technical point of view, taking into account a complex and deep study, and analysis. Finally, Palaeography is treated as an independent science, which deals with the handwriting in a relation to the human culture.
