Abstract
Este número de Quorum, revista ya establecida en los espacios académicos y políticos del ámbito iberoamericano, está dedicado al tema de la cohesión social. La razón ocasional es que ése será el tema de la próxima Cumbre Iberoamericana, que se realizará en Chile en noviembre próximo. La razón de fondo es que el renovado debate sobre el desarrollo latinoamericano pasa, necesariamente, por ese tema.
 
This issue of Quorum, a magazine well established as a point of reference in Latin American academia and politics, focuses on social cohesin, which will also be the subject of the Latin American Summit that will take place in Chile next November. A renewed debate on the development of Latin America must necessarily include this subject.
