Since the last year of the 20th Century and the beginning of the 21st Century, the migratory phenomenon has acquired a dimensión so dramatic and extended. Probably, it won't be too much to say that, next to terrorism, the migration set the beginning of the century, as a consequence of the social, political and economical globalization that we are living in. In this article the author analyses, specifically, the Ecuadorian migratory phenomenon -particularly to Europe and inside of, it most of all, to Spain- considering as a real extended and inside social phenomenon, with an important impact in the society and in the economy of the country. The migration came as a result of the 1999 Financial bankruptcy, the economic crisis that follow and the reduction of the employment. The migration, as it was foreseeable, caused and still is, grate problems in the different circles, that we clearly analyze in this article.
