dc.description.abstractIn 1987, the Cervantine iconography was embellished with an edition of Don Quijote drawn by Antonio Saura. This original recreation made by a contemporary artist dealing with the relationship between images and writing, has been considered a model of reading of this universal classic work. The paper analyzes the characteristics of the work and explores the meanings of the intervention developed by this Aragonese painter
