Abstract

Se pretende comprender la trayectoria de la Universidad mexicana a través de su evolución, funcionamiento interno y proyección social. Para ello se analizan las distintas fases de su crecimiento (siglos XVI y XVII) hasta su posterior asentamiento y expansión (siglos XVIII). Por último, se analizan las distintas lineas metodológicas de actuación e investigación, incluyéndose una amplia información bibliográfica.

To be able to understand the trajectory of the Mexican University, its evolution, infernal functioning and social influence, we must analyse the different phases of growth, during the centuries XVI and XVII, follwed by years of expansión, during the 18th century at which time one could say it became fully established. Lastly, we must analyse the different methodological lines of procedure and investigation, including extensive bibliographical information.
