Abstract

This work is based fundamentally on the exhaustive bibliographic analysis of parliamentaries' speeches and Information supplied by the press accounts and excerpts from congressional archives of the Republic. It pretends to offer a cross-analysis of Guatemaltec mentality bringing forth principal concerns and doubts of parliamentaries. Likewise, it deals with coincidences among them and public opinion addressed to the following: The fear of counterrevolutionary reaction, the make up of an electorate body and the analysis of the Soviet, Spanish regimes respectively It dweils on paradigms felt by the evolutionarles in view of the reigning Fascism and Communism, a climate created on the aftermath of the Second World War.
