Abstract
This bachelor’s thesis addresses the design, manufacturing, assembling and testing of
a double-axes solar tracker for a Concentration Photovoltaics System (CPV).
The system is mainly composed of two concentration photovoltaic cells along with
their primary and secondary concentration optical systems that are mounted on a structure
capable of orienting itself in two axes thanks to the action of two stepper motors with
gearboxes. The prototype was later subjected to testing in Alcalá de Henares.
