Abstract
biosocial, cognitivo, moral y psicosocial.
This master's thesis stems from the need to provide adolescents with tools and techniques to
reduce anxiety and alleviate autolytic behaviors that can occur as a consequence of this
disorder. Its objective is to know the changes that arise in adolescence and the symptoms,
causes and consequences of suffering from anxiety at this stage. It is a crucial stage in the
evolutionary development of children, since not only their appearance and physical state
change, but puberty appears in it and brings with it a change in their psychological, cognitive,
moral, social and cultural state, affecting their biosocial, cognitive, moral and psychosocial
development. For all these reasons, a series of problems and risks can arise at this stage, such
as suffering from Anxiety Disorders (AD). They are mental pathologies that frequently occur
for various reasons and usually cause symptoms that present a series of both physical and
psychological consequences. For this reason, an intervention proposal has been designed,
which is developed in a Secondary School where methodologies such as metacognitive,
among others, are worked on and carried out, offering techniques and tools to identify and
manage anxiety. Therefore, it is concluded that if these methodologies are used, adolescents
will have many more options to control anxiety, which will be useful throughout their lives.
