Abstract
Through instruments such as collective memory, feelings of nostalgia or melancholy, and confrontations between determination and willingness to explore the unknown or its total rejection, arquitectural spaces and their liminality have left an undeniable mark on the routine of human beings.
It is because of this presence that they should be studied and it is mandatory to try to understand the effect they have on the subjects who experience them.
What will be presented next serves as a guide to understanding the perceptions people have about them and the different dichotomous feelings they generate, which are necessary to comprehend the rest of
the spaces that are part of our day to day life and how liminality is key to enriching spatial phenomenology
and its meaning.
