Abstract
Claudio. The article deals once again on the controversial treaty called Filino's Treaty, on its historicity and on the context in which it could arise. Its historical reality seems undoubted: it is favoured by its historical context. At the time in which the controversial treaty is located, Ap. Claudius Caecus was a very influential figure in Roman politics and he had managed to impose his idea thesis that "Italy, for the Italics". Non-Italics should not deal with Italian affairs in any way and they shouls keep themselves away from the peninsula. The mentioned treaty makes explicit this policy regarding Carthage and, therefore, the present article links its wording and terms to the influence of ap. Claudius.
