Alusiones a Hispania en el Código Teodosiano

Abstract

Como bien es sabido el Código de Teodosio se convierte en un instrumento de primera mano para el conocimiento de la evolución histórica del siglo IV y de los inicios del siglo V d.C, al extremo que podemos considerarlo como un testigo fiel de su época. De ahí, por ejemplo, el escaso protagonismo de Hispania en la compilación, ya que por aquella época es un territorio marginado de los principales eventos.

It's known that The Theodosian Code become an important instrument for the understanding of the historical evolution in the fourth century and in the beginnings of the fifth century, so much that we can considered it like a faithful witness of his age. For that reason, by example, the scarce protagonism of Hispania in the compilation, because in that age is a marginal region of the mains facts.
