Celtiberia en las fuentes grecolatinas : replanteamiento conceptual de un paradigma obsoleto

Abstract

Partiendo de las informaciones proporcionadas por las fuentes clásicas, susceptibles de aproximar im contomo sobre la región geográfica de Celtiberia, se cuestiona el ámbito territorial que tradicionalmente viene estimándose para la región en todos los estudios sobre la materia. Defendemos aquí su identificación con el interior de la Península Ibérica, en un contomo que aproximadamente podríamos equiparar con la Meseta. A continuación se avanza una crítica sobre algunas cuestiones que deberán alterarse si se acepta el cambio de paradigma propuesto.

Starting from the informations provided by the classical sources, succeptible to give an approximate outline of the Celtiberian geographical region, we question the territorial area which, traditionally, has been applied to it in all the studies of the subject. This paper defends its Identification with the interior of the Iberian Peninsula, roughly an area we identify with the "Meseta". The following, we make a cristicism about some topics that must be altered if the change of the proposed paradigm is accepted.
