Abstract
valorar y conservar. This article is intended to analyze the didactic
materials produced during the 60s and 70s
by the National Company of Optics (ENOSA),
which was created by the National Industrial
Institute (INI) during Franco’s dictatorship. Its
initial goals were focused on the construction of
lenses and precision instruments for the Army,
but later its productions spread out to scientific
and educational fields. To gather information,
a huge number of historical documents were
consulted, in addition to many photos and audio-
visuals. This documentation has been adequately
contextualized according to specialized
bibliography about the social and educational
changes that occurred in that period. In conclusion,
we can tell in advance that the didactic
materials created by ENOSA were copious and
varied, as well as they reached high standards
of sophistication. Therefore, they endorsed
some methodological changes of great interest
within a technocratic context of profound modernization
of Spanish Education. Also, it is worth
appreciating and preserving these products,
still in use today, as a significant sample of pedagogical
heritage.
