Traducción e interpretación en los centros de salud de la región de Murcia: análisis del impacto del covid19 y la actualidad

Abstract

En este trabajo de fin de máster se llevará a cabo una breve revisión de los servicios de traducción e interpretación que se ofertan en el sistema sanitario del Área III del servicio murciano de salud. A fin de realizar esta revisión de la manera más veraz posible, en primer lugar, se llevará a cabo un estudio teórico de las diferentes ideas y teorías de otros personajes académicos de renombre para poder respaldar esta investigación. Por ejemplo, hablaremos de temas que serán de interés para esta investigación como son: la definición de TISP, la legislación vigente, la formación en TISP, la definición del mediador intercultural, la definición de la estructura del sistema sanitario de salud de Murcia… Éstas y otras muchas teorías de ideas serán tratadas en esta investigación. Tras haber llevado a cabo una revisión breve bibliográfica de las diferentes teorías e ideas que fundamentan esta investigación, procederemos a llevar a cabo un estudio de caso. Este estudio de casos se basará en entrevistas realizadas al personal sanitario de los centros de salud y hospitales del Área III de salud de la región de Murcia. A través de estas entrevistas nuestro objetivo es obtener información de primera mano de los profesionales, para conocer así cuáles son las diferentes situaciones comunicativas a las que se han tenido que enfrentar en su día a día

In this dissertation we will carry out a brief review of the translation and interpreting services offered in the health system of Area III of the Murcia’s healthcare service. In order to carry out this review as truthfully as possible, we will first carry out a theoretical study of the different ideas and theories of other renowned academic figures in order to support this research. For example, we will discuss topics that will be of interest for this research such as: the definition of PSIT, the current legislation, the training in PSIT, the definition of intercultural mediator, the definition of the structure of Murcia’s health care system.... These and many other theories of ideas will be discussed with in this research. After having carried out a brief review of the different theories and ideas that base this research, we will proceed to carry out a case study. This case study will be based on interviews with health staff from healthcare centers and hospitals in Area III of the Region of Murcia’s healthcare service. Through these interviews our aim is to obtain first-hand information from the professionals in order to find out about the different communicative situations they have had to face in their day-to-day work.
