Abstract
The United States is a nation primarily made up of immigrants. Despite the difference existing for each immigrant group, there are certain common factors among them. However, the major immigrant group in the State of Florida, and in particular in Dade County, does not respond to the general rule and constitutes the exception to the rule. The difference lies in issues related to
language and the cause of emigration. This essay analyzes these aspects together with the singularity of its composition and their consequences.
