Abstract
Throughout this project, we intended to capture the meaning of MIMO´s technology (Multiple-input Multiple-output), explaining the most important and relevant characteristics of it, as well as its extension to Massive MIMO. All of this in order to evaluate this system in different types of channels which are: WINNER II, Scattering, ScatteringFcn and StaticFlat.
In order to do this, we have used a MATLAB demo, where a MIMO-OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) system is simulated under the 4 channel models mentioned before. The behavior of the system is analyzed under the different channels and we highlight the differences among them, by taking into account the simulation results and the theoretical part.
In the conclusions, we present a comparison between the channel models and mention which are the conditions for the best results. Finally, future research lines are proposed
