Abstract
Metathetical reactions of Br(C6F5)Ni(PPh3)2 with metal salts MX (NaI, NaNO2, NaNO3, KCN, KSCN, AgClO4) have given the corresponding X(C6F5)Ni(PPh3)2 complexes. The perchlorate group of the complex (O3ClO)Ni(C6F5)(PPh3)2 is readily displaced. In this way cationic complexes [(C6F5)Ni(PPh3)2L]ClO4 have been prepared with L --- PPh3, PEt3, P-t-Bu3, AsPh3, C5H5N, OPPh3, SPPh3, H2O, or CH3NO2.
