Abstract
We were interested in electron deficient organotitanium complexes das potential Ziegler-Natta catalysts likely to show particularly interesting structural features and easily accessible low valent oxidation states and so we chose pentamethylcyclopentadienyltitanium trichloride as the starting product for our studies
