| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | The study of the singing voice can be approached from an artistic or a scientific
perspective. Both aspects are not always present in professional singers and in medical doctors.
Singing starts at the brain level with the voluntary intention to do so, and it is
produced when the source, the air, generates vibration of the vocal folds. The sound of the larynx is then modified by the vocal tract allowing articulation and resonance phenomena. All
this process is under the guidance of the ear, essential element of singing.
The objective of this paper is to review the anatomical structures involved in this entire
process and to explain how the physiological phenomena occur when singing. | en |
