Abstract
The main purpose of this project is to develop a drone positioning system for trajectory tracking
applications oriented to work in indoor environments. The positioning system uses the
information from the onboard downfaced camera that detects and identifies fixed marks
located on the ground and whose position is known. The positioning system calculates the
absolute position of the drone from the relative position of the drone with respect to absolute
position of the mark. For the demonstration of the proposal, Parrot Mambo minidrone is used.
Matlab/Simulink tools and software are used for the design, implementation and simulation.
