Inmigrantes colombianos en Madrid: actitudes lingüísticas y pautas de integración social

Abstract

Como parte del Proyecto de Investigación INMIGRAComunidad de Madrid, “Patrones sociolingüísticos y procesos de integración sociolingüística en Madrid”, se recogió un corpus sociolingüístico de doce inmigrantes colombianos residentes en la ciudad de Madrid, a quienes se realizaron entrevistas semidirigidas correspondientes a un estilo de habla semiformal. La entrevista se completó con un cuestionario cerrado de preguntas orientadas a medir su integración social y lingüística en la comunidad de acogida. El cuestionario incluye una sección para valorar las actitudes del colectivo de colombianos ante la variedad de habla madrileña y contrastarla con la propia. A partir de estos datos, se lleva a cabo un análisis para obtener una valoración preliminar y aproximativa sobre las pautas de integración social y las actitudes lingüísticas de los colombianos en Madrid. Los resultados se pondrán en contraste con los de otros colectivos migrantes que también se están estudiando en el proyecto INMIGRA-CM.

As part of the INMIGRA-Comunidad de Madrid Research Project, “Sociolinguistic patterns and processes of sociolinguistic integration in Madrid”, a sociolinguistic corpus was created comprising twelve Colombian immigrants living in Madrid who were subjected to a semi-directed interview conducted in a semi-formal style of speech. The interview was complemented with a closed questionnaire of questions devised to measure their social and linguistic integration in the host community. The questionnaire included a section for assessing the attitudes of Colombians towards the Madrilenian speech variety and to contrast it with their own. These data were analysed to obtain a preliminary appraisal of the patterns of social integration and the linguistic attitudes of Colombians in Madrid. The results will be compared with those for the other migrant communities that are being studied by the INMIGRA-CM Project.
