Abstract
propongamos. What is proposed as the general objective of the work is to design a series of activities for
the teaching practice of geometry education inspired by the Van Hiele conceptual
framework. We present dynamics of effective learning, in which the learning process
must allow the student to learn to learn so that in this way he is more and more
independent and competent for his integral development, both personal and professional.
The idea that guides us is that the student must participate actively in their learning
process, both individually and cooperatively, therefore, it is necessary to choose the
appropriate methodologies that favour active and participatory teaching. As the most
relevant learning, we would highlight the discovery of the methodology of guided
discovery and the observation that students, motivated by well-designed activities, are
capable of forming elaborate reasoning if we have enough patience for that moment of
discovery to arise, of which Van Hiele spoke, in which the student discovers something
that has always been there, that has been a truth before being discovered and that is better
fixed in his mind when it is obtained by this mechanism. We must rely on the natural
intuition of people to find these discoveries in each activity that we propose.
