La disculpa en chino: estado de la cuestión y análisis de conversaciones recreadas

Abstract

Se presenta en este trabajo una investigación sobre la petición de disculpas en chino realizada teniendo en cuenta la bibliografía existente sobre el tema y el análisis de un pequeño corpus que recrea la conversación oral. Los resultados muestran una recurrencia muy elevada de la estrategia de disculpa directa y explícita, aunque, al menos en este contexto, no suele realizarse de forma aislada, sino acompañada de otras estrategias de disculpa. El reconocimiento de la responsabilidad o la expresión de justificaciones o excusas suelen acompañar a la fórmula de expresión directa y explícita. Finalmente, tanto la bibliografía como el análisis cualitativo del corpus indican que en la prevalencia de alguna de estas dos combinaciones factores como el poder social o la distancia social tienen una gran incidencia.

The aim of this work is to conduct a research about the apology in Chinese. In order to do this, an account of the existing bibliography on the subject and the analysis of a small oral conversational corpus have been done. The results show the preference for a specific type of strategy, the expression of direct and explicit apology (IFID). In spite of that, this strategy is not usually done in isolation. The IFID is usually used in conjunction with an explanation of the cause which brought the offence or with an expression of the speaker’s responsibility for the offence. Finally, both, literature about this topic and the analysis of the corpus, show clear evidence that social power and social distance are really related to the strategy chosen by the speaker to perform the apology
