Abstract
In 1923, Manuel de Falla founded the Andalusia Chamber Orchestra led by the
fulfillment of an ideal duty that he expressed himself in these words: “the will, the work and
even the sacrifice enthusiasts in the service of the sound art and of the noble action that
to this art concerns to fulfill”. Citing as an example this elegant aphorism, throughout this
article we will try to elucidate how it came between Seville and Granada the birth of one of
the most singular orchestras of the Spanish music scene of the first third of the 20th century.
