Taller de escritura creativa de cuentos

Abstract

La escritura creativa es un instrumento con el que los alumnos de la ESO pueden desarrollarse académicamente y como personas. En esta experiencia, se han empleado los siguientes procedimientos: explicación de conceptos narratológicos, escritura en grupos e individualmente y lectura en clase de los cuentos para recibir comentarios por parte del resto de alumnos y del profesor. Por último, los alumnos y el profesor seleccionaron los cuentos que consideraron más interesantes para que los alumnos los leyesen ante otros alumnos del instituto. El Taller despertó el interés de los alumnos por la Literatura, produjo en los alumnos una autopercepción de competencia en escritura creativa y les ayudó a mejorar su competencia en escritura creativa individual y en grupo.

Creative writing is a tool which helps Secondary Education pupils develop academically and as individuals. The following procedure has been used: explanation of the narratological concepts, writing in groups and individually; reading their stories out loud in front of the class as well, so they could receive comments from the other students and from the teacher. Finally the students and teacher chose the tales considered the most interesting ones so that pupils read them in front of other students in the school. The workshop aroused students’ interest in Literature, brought the perception of self-competence in creative writing to students and helped them improve their individual and collective creative writing competence.
