Abstract
The abandonment of sports in people with HIV is commonly caused by fears and misinformation. The benefits reported by the usual practice of physical and sports exercise are numerous, both in the physiological and psychological fields. Improvements in body composition, elevation of physical condition, and promotion of sociability is key in this pathology. For all these reasons, it is necessary to improve information in people linked to the sport and HIV binomial so that they can resume or begin to practice an active lifestyle.
