La influencia del cine de ciencia ficción en las ciudades del futuro

Abstract

La línea de investigación principal de este Trabajo Final de Grado es la de poder llegar a conocer y vislumbrar el Futuro de las Ciudades actuales. Para ello, nos serviremos del gran catálogo de imágenes que nos brinda el Cine de Ciencia Ficción. Para establecer unas ideas que den base a esta reflexión, el trabajo comienza explicando conceptos básicos sobre el psicoanálisis y el inconsciente humano, más concretamente hablando acerca del inconsciente colectivo. De esta forma entra en juego la teoría de que pudiera existir una serie de imágenes y símbolos que nos fueran comunes a todos los seres humanos y que, en este caso, han sido adquiridos a través del Cine. A continuación, se establecerá una serie de relaciones y cambios en las influencias que se dieron entre el Cine y la Arquitectura a lo largo del Siglo XX, valiéndonos del psicoanálisis como vehículo que conecta ambas artes y las hace influir en la mente humana. Con el fin de establecer un paradigma acerca del estado actual de las ciudades, se estudiarán diferentes tipos de ciudad que hoy en día se están dando en el mundo. De esta manera podremos iniciar la especulación futura de estas ciudades con mayor precisión y veracidad. Por último, y siendo ya el objetivo final de este trabajo, se desarrollarán las diferentes posibilidades de evolución de las Ciudades del Futuro, valiéndonos siempre del imaginario visual que el ser humano ha obtenido a través de los años gracias al Cine de Ciencia Ficción.

The main research line of this Final Degree Project is to be able to get to know and glimpse the Future of the current Cities. To do this, we will use the large catalog of images that Cinema of Science Fiction offers us. To establish ideas that give rise to this reflection, the work begins by explaining basic concepts about psychoanalysis and the human unconscious, more specifically speaking about the collective unconscious. In this way the theory comes into play that there could be a series of images and symbols that were common to all human beings and which, in this case, have been acquired through Cinema. Next, a series of relationships and changes in the influences that occurred between Cinema and Architecture throughout the 20th century, using psychoanalysis as a vehicle that connects both arts and I influences the human mind. In order to establish a paradigm about the current state of cities, we will studydifferent types of city that today are taking place in the world. In this way we can start the future speculation of these cities with greater precision and truthfulness. Finally, and being the final objective of this work, the different possibilities of evolution of the Cities of the Future will be developed, always using the visual imaginary that the human being has obtained through the years thanks to Science Fiction Cinema.
