Abstract
In this report I try to reflect as accurate as possible to the events that occurred in the last third of the s. XVII. The might of the Spanish empire and there was only the name, the decline of the monarchy by palace intrigues that brought the Valids, the resurgence of France with a strong and powerful king who brought together all the power itself, and poor reflection of the Spanish throne with a monarch whose appearance bring gibes and international approaches interested in your court to take power only held his crown, because as ruler was a failure.
The Treaty of Ryswick is the last International Agreement that has lubricates a member of the Habsburg House, as the life of King Bewitched would come to an end a few years later. its content and consequences will be analyzed, highlighting the return by France previously invaded by the interest deposited the French in place at one of their own in the Spanish throne, as it were territories.
As a final point I would emphasize that in this text we will find a comprehensive description of the society of the time, economy, government systems in the Spains, palatial intricacies and what happened in the Nine Years' War that led to the signing of Ryswick.
