La evolución del terrorismo yihadista y la nueva respuesta penal

Abstract

Los ataques terroristas en Occidente se han incrementado a lo largo de los últimos años y se presentan con modalidades novedosas de ataque. El objeto de este trabajo consiste en el análisis de la evolución del terrorismo de corte yihadista así como de la novedosa respuesta legislativa y político-criminal que presenta España al respecto. Comenzamos con el terrorismo a través del estudio de su concepto y con la evolución que presenta en sus nuevas modalidades de ataque: los lobos solitarios, las armas de ataque y el papel de la mujer como soldado de la yihad. Como segunda parte, analizamos aquellas medidas político-criminales que han sido adoptadas por el gobierno español al respecto, terminando con el análisis de la reforma penal acontecida con la ley 2/2015 en materia de terrorismo.

The terrorist attacks in the West have increased over the last few years and are presented with novel attack modalities. The object of this work consists in the analysis of the evolution of jihadist terrorism as well as the novel legislative and political-criminal response of Spain. We begin with terrorism through the study of its concept and with the evolution it presents in its new forms of attack: the lone wolves, the weapons of attack and the role of women as soldiers of the jihad. As a second part, we analyze those political-criminal measures that have been adopted by the Spanish government in this regard, ending with the analysis of the criminal reform that occurred with Law 2/2015 on terrorism.
