La colección de platería de la Iglesia Parroquial de San Juan Bautista de Pinilla Ambroz

Abstract

La iglesia parroquial de San Juan Bautista de Pinilla Ambroz cuenta con diez obras de plata, hechas la mayoría en Segovia. Aunque fueron realizadas desde finales del siglo XV hasta 1814, predominan las labradas en este año por Isidro Berrocal Martín, ya que el templo sufrió las consecuencias de la Guerra de la Independencia, teniendo que reponer casi todo su ajuar para el culto.

The parish church of Saint John the Baptist from Pinilla Ambroz has got ten silver-smithing works, most of them done in Segovia. Even though these were made since the end of the XV century until 1814, the ones carved this last mentioned year by Isidro Berrocal Martín predominate, due to the fact that the temple suffered the consequences of the Independence War, so that nearly all the trousseau for worship needed to be replenished.
