Presos de prisa: la aceleración lingüística

Abstract

Nuestro objetivo en este artículo es proponer una reflexión sobre el tiempo a partir del lenguaje actual. Somos social y lingüísticamente prisioneros del tiempo, vivimos guiados y sujetos a horarios y fechas que creemos necesarios en la ficción del bienestar. Los marcadores sociales y personales de la aceleración se han convertido en omnipresentes y el lenguaje los adopta y los genera fiel a su función y parece que también al dicho hay un tiempo para cada cosa y cada cosa a su tiempo. En esta asociación los medios de comunicación nos sitúan temporal y espacialmente, nos recuerdan constante e incansablemente la fecha en la que estamos, el momento del día, la hora exacta... y nuestras expresiones reflejan, sin duda, esta obsesión.

Our target in this article is to propose a reflection about time from present language.We are socially and linguistically prisioners by time, we live guided and subject to time-tables and dates that we think necessary in the wellbeing fiction. Social and personal acceleration's time markers have become omnipresent and language adopts and generates them loyal to its function and, apparently, as the saying goes there is a time to each thing and each thing in its time. In this association mass media place us temporally and spacely, they remember us constantly and untirelessly the date we are, the moment of the day, the exact hour and our expressions reflect, doubtless, this obsession.
