| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | This study deals with certain questions about
language acquisition by deaf children who are CI
recipients. Some of such children have not developed
any competence on sign language, whilst others have
developed it in such a way that the acquisition of oral
language becomes the acquisition of a second
language. How do these two modes of
communication oral and visual live together? Is it
possible to talk about a conflict in the acquisition of
oral language if the language based on the visual
mode is taken as the starting point for learning? Is it
necessary to exclude one of them to strengthen the
other? These are some of the issues that will be
approached in our paper. | en |
