La variación fonética en ELE

Abstract

Este trabajo presenta una serie de orientaciones que puedan ser de utilidad al profesor de español como lengua extranjera a la hora de presentar y tratar en el aula el tema de la variación fonética. Después de explicar cómo se manifiesta la diversidad dialectal en el mundo hispánico, se exponen algunos hechos de variación fonética presentes en las principales normas cultas y se describe de qué manera el Plan curricular del Instituto Cervantes ha abordado el tema de la variación.

This paper presents a set of guidelines that may be useful to the teacher of Spanish as a foreign language, when the issue of the phonetic variety is presented and attended in the class. Once we explain how the dialectal diversity in the Hispanic world works, we expose some facts of phonetic variation, present in the major civilized standards. Finally, we describe how the curriculum of the Cervantes Institute has approached the issue of variation.
