Fábulas y moralejas sobre el ratón en la literatura hebrea de la Edad Media

Abstract

Este artículo expone la imagen del ratón en algunas obras literarias de la Edad Media. Analizaremos cómo se representa la figura del mencionado roedor en los textos judíos tempranos y, al mismo tiempo, exploraremos cómo se representa en fuentes escritas no judías. La segunda parte del artículo enfocara unas de las fábulas sobre el ratón mencionadas en la obra Mishlé Shualim de Berejia Ha Nakdán (finales del siglo XII o primera mitad del XIII).

This article examine the image of the mouse in some medieval Hebrew literary works. We will offer an analysis of the mouse’s figure in some early medieval Hebrew texts in comparison to some non-Jewish literary sources. The second part of the article will focus on some interesting fables presented in the book Mishlé Shualim by Berechia Ha Nakdan (end of the 12th century or first half of the 13th century).
