Las Hondas Raíces del Ciprianillo. Tercera parte: las ‘Gacetas

Abstract

La tercera parte de este trabajo (véase Culturas Populares 2 y 3) estudia la forma y la naturaleza de las listas de tesoros escondidos, que durante cuatro siglos aproximadamente fueron utilizados por los buscadores de tesoros españoles, especialmente en Galicia y Asturias. Y propone que estas listas evolucionaron desde modelos en árabe, conocidos como El Libro de la Ciencia de Tesoros que surgen en Egipto y en el Magreb en el siglo IX de la era cristiana.

The third part of this paper (see Culturas Populares 2 and 3) studies the form and nature of the lists of hidden treasures, which were used by the Spanish treasure-hunters for over four centuries in the provinces of Galicia and Asturias. This study proposes that these lists derived from identical texts in Arabic –known as The Book of the Science of Treasures- which appeared in Egypt and the Maghreb in the 9th Century of the Christian era
