Edades teóricas (Poética del sujeto caballeresco)

Abstract

En este trabajo propongo que aunque la Filología y el historicismo son necesarios para comprender las condiciones de posibilidad de ciertos textos dados en ciertas coordenadas, son, en cambio, insuficientes para responder a otras preguntas cruciales, y, en especial a la pregunta siguiente: ¿por qué sentimos la necesidad de construir nuestra contemporaneidad narrando y estudiando el pasado? Para ello, me centraré sobre todo en el estudio de la institución caballeresca, tema clave de los estudios medievales.

In this study, 1 suggest that Philology and Historicism, although necessary to understand theconditions of possibility oftexts given in acertain set of coordinates, do not sufice when it comes to understand sorne important questions, namely why do we still feel the necessity of building ur own contemporaneity by narrating and stuying the past. In order to do that, 1 will focus on one of the main subjects of research for medievalists, the institution of knighthood.
