El episodio de Rachel y Vidas, polifónico y al mismo tiempo, velado

Abstract

El episodio de Rachel y Vidas dentro del Cantar de mio Cid, se ha intentado explicar, a lo largo del tiempo, en función de categorías externas al propio texto. Este trabajo retoma categorías emblemáticas mediatas internas explícitas dentro del poema, ya analizadas por otros investigadores para, a partir de ellas, generando una síntesis de lectura emblemática, aclarar la identidad de ambos personajes, aseverando su pertenencia a la minoría judía, y los motivos intratextuales que la justifican.

Over time many, sought to explain the Rachel and Vidas episode within the Cantar de mio Cid based on categories outside the text itself. This paper takes again internal mediate emblematic categories explicit in the poem, already analyzed by other researchers, in order to clarify, creating a synthesis of symbolic-emblematic reading, the identity of both characters, asserting their membership of the Jewish minority, and the textual motifs that justify so.
