Abstract

Though personal mobile devices like cell phones and PDAs already offer their users some kinds of service personalization, service personalization through personal mobile devices can be taken one step further. In particular, personal devices can be used to integrate services provided within smart environments with the services provided at the personal devices themselves. In this paper, we present an approach for the seamless integration of personal devices and smart environments through the use of personal smart spaces. This would allow personal devices to become even more integrated in our everyday lives.
