Abstract
Entre 1910 y 1936 el laboratorio del Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, dependió en sus investigaciones de la Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas siendo uno de los más importantes núcleos en la investigación geológica del momento. El análisis histórico de este centro permite establecer siete etapas en su evolución histórica e identifica varias líneas de investigación.
 
Between 1910 and 1936 the Investigation of the National Museum of Natural Sciences depended from the "Junta para Ampliación de Estudios e Investigaciones Científicas" which was one of the most important nucleus in the geological investigation at that moment . The historic analysis of this center allow to stablish seven periods in its historic evolution and to identify several ways of investigation.
